we have oficially hijacked this thread over an argument of opinions. yes they are similar in design, even measurments, imo they are different enough be be seperated.

I like small blocks more then big blocks. and I preffer gen 3 stuff over anything else.

For the sake of friendly conversation and the chance to learn something..
I will not lock this thread.. But keep it clean and no fighting..

The Small Block vs Big Block can get as heated as any Ford vs Chevy conversation.
Trust me.. I have been in scraps... fighting for my Chevy because I thought is was better than a Ford..(sick)

We are a family here.. Its ok to disagree but not to fight.

I like the small block cause thats what I have :lol: and with todays technologie and good heads you can make gobs of power with less weight so I think it helps the s-10's have better traction plus less weight = quicker times , more room to work on easier to balance weight front to back cheaper to build
and it always feels good to put a big block race car back on the trailer. but hey to each is own cause most of the faster race cars are big block
small block guys can do like the imports in this situation POWER ADDERS make a small block feel damn big

i,ll take a CN 10.000deck 4.5" bore spacing billet block smallblock with some NRC heads with 3stage and a sheetmetal intake good for 566ci , now that,s a smallblock
